A superstar of the 90s, actor Govinda's fans have been waiting to see him make a comeback on screen with a masala entertainer. While the actor was known to have given back to back hits back in the 90s, an interview of him with a magazine during those times has been going viral on Reddit.

In the poster of the said magazine, the title of Govinda's interview reads, 'Govinda in full blast.' The actor in the said interview has spoken about his then contemporaries Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan and had also questioned their stay in the industry.

Speaking about Shahrukh, Salman and Ajay Devgn, the Hero No.1 fame said, ''Let’s see how long Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh, Ajay are going to last.'' The actor, had also taken a dig at Amitabh Bachchan's rough career patch and had said, ''Where has even Amitabh given a hit in the last 10 years?''

Not just this, the actor had also stated that he did not need a Sridevi or a Madhuri to give a hit film. ''I don’t need a Sridevi or a Madhuri to give a hit,'' said Govinda

While we are yet to figure out which magazine was this interview given to, the cover of the said magazine has garnered some mixed reactions on Reddit.

''Let’s see how long Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh, Ajay are going to last!” he wouldn’t have said this only if he knew,'' one user wrote. Another writes, ''Govinda always had a big ego problem. Few hits in the 90s and suddenly he started to think himself as the next Sultan of Bollywood. But woh kehte hai naa, "the bigger the ego, the harder they fall.''

A few users also supported the Partner fame and reminded reddit users that the actor was at the peak of his career at this point of time. One user writes, ''Actors who didn't say such stuff also saw failure. Success and failure don't have much connection with arrogance or humility. Only thing with arrogance is people get to mock you later.'' Another writes, ''He was right, though. (Keeping that era in mind) At that point in time, his superhit comedy films did not require anyone except his own presence. His movies did not rely on female leads. Big B had a rough patch from mid 80s to late 90s. He was considered a faded star. He was, however, wrong about the Khans. They were already superstars. And yes His comments have aged like milk, but he obviously could not have predicted the future.''
