^The Bachchans are very old-fashioned. Even though they're close to Shweta, they consider her as part of someone else's family. This is why Amitabh was jumping like a nutcase about how he was going to be a dada for the first time when Ash got pregnant when he already had grandkids.

It's always better to not merge with very rich relatives/friends much esp if they're also powerful because not only are they in a huge number of cases, highly superficial, they're also unaware of the basics of life. I find such flaunting of wealth vulgar & very off-putting. Strange because I expected better from Shah. The Bs don't do things like this & Ash never has but when you see things like this & see most of these folks & BW, you understand very quickly why women like Ash, Vidya, DP & MD are respected & loved for their value system irrespective of their acts. In comparison to most, there is a warmth, love, care & value system that doesn't seem to be violated at every step.

I could be wrong, but this is definitely my reading.

It's B Sr & SBN who definitely have a very fractious bond beneath the paternal loving veneer! There seems to be a lot of resentment from her side towards him, very obvious from their KwK! And after all these rumours can you blame her. Not one single bit. Well definitely Aryan didnt get into UCLA becoz of his excellent academic grades,😆. He got into becoz of his Papa's money. He may be majoring in liberal arts or film & theater or something. Its definitely not any of the pure sciences or mathematics field.

Shah seems to be an extremely indulgent father & with all the rumours of Aryan's drug usage + super-rich lifestyle, bound to happen. I did read an IV with Gauri where she said she doesn't want her kids to grow up with all luxury so she insists that they travel economy but Shah's heart melts. :) I agree it's so wrong, but since he never grew up with money let alone luxury, I can see why he would today want to spoil his children with every damn thing under the sun!!! Today he's very rich so W*F not!!!
