Akshay Kumar reveals shocking message daughter Nitara received: "Can you send me a nude picture?"

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar recently made a startling revelation while speaking at the launch of Cyber Awareness Month 2025 in Mumbai. The actor opened up about a frightening experience his 13-year-old daughter, Nitara, faced while playing an online video game. According to Akshay, a stranger initially sent polite messages like “well played” and “thank you” before probing about her gender. When Nitara revealed she was a girl, the tone of the conversation shifted dramatically, with the person eventually asking for her nudes.

Thankfully, Nitara acted responsibly by immediately quitting the game and informing her mother. “She didn’t hesitate to share what happened, which was the best part,” Akshay said, emphasizing how crucial it is for children to feel safe talking to their parents about online experiences.

A Wake-Up Call for Parents

During the conference, held at the office of the Director General of Police and attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and senior police officials, Akshay stressed that such incidents are far from isolated. Predators online often start by building trust with children before attempting exploitation, which can escalate to blackmail, extortion, or worse.

Highlighting the importance of open communication between parents and kids, Akshay urged families to actively monitor digital activity and discuss online safety regularly. CM Fadnavis also addressed the gathering, reinforcing the urgent need for vigilance in today’s digital age and backing the month-long campaign that will focus on educating children, teenagers, and schools about cyber threats.
