Q. Don't you think its a bit unfair to call Barfi a fluke hit as it was rated at the time of release?

Ans. The fluke is not about hit, no questions against that, the fluke is going to 105 crore nett. Even Piku, Neerja, Kapoor & Sons are hits and at present this sort of content catering to 4-5 cities stops at around 75 lakh footfalls for these films. Even a Dil Dhadakne Do which is bigger film but aimed at same audience stops at the range. The fluke of Barfi was going to a higher range of over 1 crore. Thats where its a one off and can't be taken seriously as its going to happen very rarely.

LMAO, Kareena's names appear BEFORE Arjun in the credits. the ENTIRE FILM is shown from her perspective. It has her in more screen time than him.

Lagta hai you're just hell bent on dragging Kareena down. too bad it won't work. Kareena fans have plenty of reasons to be happy than to let her haters ruin the party 😆

Just coz i don't like the pairing & film didn't appeal to me, so i am a HATER 😆

Bebo's name was obvious to come earlier, as she is senior to Arjun Kapoor.

In today's time where there is almost from 12 shows to huge 30+ shows going for all NEW Films, films doing business just in range of 30-70 Cr is considered a HUGE HIT? 🤣

As my post above shows as just 75 Lacs ppl have watched those films & i am 100% sure Ki & Ka won't even touch 75 Lacs... a film like PRDP is bashed which was watched by 2.28 Cr Ppl & made almost more than double the business of these films, Aayo Payo is Epic Fail... but Ki & ka is huge hit... ya sure 😆

I have seen many 90's films who have earned more than Budget, some even termed as FLOP or Below Average.

HIT is calculated from the AMOUNT on which FILM is Sold, DISTRIBUTOR buy a film & Then film is showcased, sometimes BUDGET is floated LOW & Selling price LOW to earn a HIT TAG, which happened this year with AIRLIFT Which got SUPERHIT TAG just on this calculation.

But if u see inflation, Airlift is even below Jai Ho which is still 3rd biggest hit of January Republic day release all time.

Neerja got TAX FREE in so many states, still it couldn't even cross 80 Cr? Why So? WOM was phenomenal i guess? So why it fell short of 100 cr like Barfi??
