A hit IMO is the film which trends well among its target audience and makes profits for distributors and exhibitors. Not every film these days is released at all India levels so its not fair to expect every film to be a all India hit when it doesnt even reach the public. Ofcourse the reason is also because public at certain places wouldnt be interested in these films. Its ofcourse great if it becomes a all India success but these days distributors dont even release films like they used to. The business model itself is changing as audience is fragmented. I guess only certain big budget films have big releases and they are ofcourse expected to be all India hits and make profits for all exhibitors and distributors.
And KiAndKa is not a hit. Definitely it shouldnt be tagged with films like K&S, Neerja, Airlift looking at its average performance. These three were critical and commercial successes and trended really well. Neeraja and K&S had less screens than Ki&Ka. K&S had to battle exams and T20 and yet Ki&Ka is below K&S. At best it will be an average fare but its hilarious that its being tagged with these three films and pushed here on this forum by some people as a major hit.đ

So far it looks boring and SRK is having a Brad Pitt hangover. And it has Suhana, the worst actress ever to hit the industry. What do you think?...
