Can't tell about actress and their reasons to commit suicide ..don't know the atmosphere of glamour world ...but in such cases not only the situation which led the victim but also the the close person and their attitude. Which led them to take such drastic steps ...
Seen this in front of my eyes ...

Reading some comments on IF just appalled me. It just proves how lack of empathy and cruel humanity can be. Do you even realize how much they going in their head? B.c. of this attitude people have this why people take their lives. I loathe for lack of awarness for mental health. I encounter so many people who are suffering from mental health on a weekly basis, let me tell you just reaching out and listening can make a huge difference.

@Col; You're absolutely right. Loneliness is the worst prison that man has created & which we thrust upon others. It's absolutely crippling when everyone around you rejects you & laughs at you.

I just wanted to say that I read your story & you're a hero. Thank you so much for sharing this story. 🤗

I myself has experienced suffering from depression and loneliness but thank God so far I am able to get out of that phase. but if that little phase is so tormenting i myself cant even imagine what would those who are into depression are going through. the life becomes hell. what we lack is the acceptance of such mental illness in our society, we should have regular sessions in our work places and school to figure out the depressed ones before any tragedy occurs

Not right.. Suicide does take a lot of courage to execute.. I cant even begin to imagine myself going through something like this because it scares the shit out of me, and that's how I deduce that it takes lots of courage.. And then the thought occurs to me that the thing which pushes a person to go this extreme, to cross the border so fiercely must be so dangerously dark and negative that you're resorting to this last option where life ends, just ends.. The struggle of 24 yrs, the love of family and friends, and above all, the factor - LIFE - seems to be pointless.. This sounds terribly sad ..

I dont know if Pratz committed suicide out of Depression or not, but no, the people who are suicidal out of Depression, does not get affected by another suicide too.. Nothing affects them anymore.. Neither life, nor death.. If death of someone else could make an impact on them, life of someone would do that too..

Even an extremely strong person can be driven to the point whete thry give up completely and decide to kill themselves. Some are able to turn themselves away from it, some cannot and succumb to it.
What goes on in the mind of the person is not for outsiders to judge or give superfluous opinion about.

I'm sorry but what an incredibly insensitive thing to say. I understand that the media is probably covering this unfairly, but calling someone who is depressed and suicidal mentally weak is wrong. Comments and beliefs like these add to the stigma attached to depression and mental illness and makes it harder for people to come forward and seek help.

I agree that blaming the boyfriend here is wrong (I do not know anything about this actress or her personal life). But blaming her doesn't do anything in helping us as a society to prevent this from happening again and battle mental illness. Depression is a real scientifically and medically recognized disease. This girl obviously was in a very dark place to have resorted to such an action. Those who are not suffering from depression or mental illness will not jump on a suicide bandwagon because two actresses' deaths (years apart) have/are becoming high profile media circuses (again, years apart). So I don't agree that anything is becoming acceptable in any capacity.

+1. You said it all.

If you just one min stop thinking about anything else and try to imagine what her last few minutes were like.
I promise you, you won't be making posts like this although for that one needs to have compassion for their fellow humans.
Can you think of sitting somewhere all alone and thinking killing yourself is the only answer to your problems??
I have never been really depressed, sad beyond words, yes, stressed yes but never really depressed so I can't know what's like to be in that situation other than what I read arnd and saw on tv.
But I can tell you this much, something very very powerful must drive someone to take sucha drastic step.
Even if the same thing seem fixable to me and you, in their mind it wasn't, in their mind dying was the only solution.
Very strong emotions and their mind didn't give them any support.
I can't for the life of me think suicide is easy for anyone.
That's why you gotta try to understand what can make anyone take their own life, they not thinking like you and I are.
They thinking differently and probably that's what depression is.
They prisoners of their minds, we all are but not everyone can see the positive in negative situations.
So instead of looking down on them just try to understand their perspective too.
They weren't thinking like you wld in that situation.
You gotta be grateful to god or whatever you blv in for giving you strong mind (if you think they had/have weak mind)
Cuz even then its not something they cld control you know they can't just go to market or doctor to get stronger mind.
As I mentioned I'm someone who's never sad for long period of time, it's not like life doesn't throw shit at me, it does all kinda funny stuff including losing loved ones...i just hate been sad so I do what I can to escape it, and it's not that difficult to to cheer myself up or snap out of whatever thats going on at the time. (Sometimes I'm afraid it might caught up to me)
God has also given the strength if you must say.
And I never ever take credit for that, I always always thank God for it.
Especially when I see how others deal with things.
So please once again just think about what can make another fellow human being to do something that you can't even think about doing.
And you might have these people some compassion.
But if you keep looking things from your perspective then you will find flaws in them and their decision and remember we are all flawed.
I'm in no way saying suicide is ok or its the answer to any problem.
But making such posts isn't gonna help in any way.
What these people need is help from professionals who are trained for this, and the rest of us to be supportive.
to have everyone of us educate themseleves about depression to some extent, so instead of thinking "oh she/he killed themselves for a boyfriend or money"? What a wasteof life.
And looking down on them, cuz that's the last thing that someone dealing with depression needs.
Just try to understand.
Suicide is NOT the answer but what they need is help not judgmens.

May her soul rest in peace.

Depression is like a silent killer. It is heartbreaking to think what would have convinced her that the only option left was to take her own life. That needs a lot of guts and it is heartwrenching to see a 24 year old woman come to that decision. It is very easy to judge but no one would understand the extent of her emotions that drove her to this conclusion. Only hope is that people do not judge and give a listening, just listen and understand and tell that person you're there for him/her no matter what. That is the first thing they want, the assurance that someone has his/her back.
