Bollywood actor Lalit Manchanda was found dead at his residence in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, April 21. According to officials, no suicide note was recovered from the scene. Police arrived shortly after being informed and have since sent the body for postmortem. A source familiar with the situation told a news reporter that Lalit had been withdrawn lately and had reportedly been under personal and emotional stress. “He was not the kind to open up easily, but those close to him had noticed he wasn’t doing well,” the source added. Lalit's brother also informed about the actor going to sleep in a separate room and then being found dead the following morning.
