My interpretation of it is that people keep saying that Pratyusha was depressed when in fact she hasn't expressed that to anyone in life - that's why her actual, close friends are defending her by saying that people are throwing words around like financial crisis and depression which is also taking away from the actual problem she was facing in life - her abusive relationship with Rahul.

I am absolutely shocked at hearing that Saloni was there at the hospital when Rahul dropped Pratyusha's dead body off there as well as his car being parked outside her house when he was MIA. They make a very valid point of why he ran and why Pratyusha had to be dependant on him when she was never out of work and was paid really well - who is Rahul? I hope more light is shed on these past cases under Rahul's name of how he cheated other girls out of their money. Scumbag. Murder or suicide - I'll leave it to the court to judge that and I hope they do so fairly however I want all of Rahul's deeds to come out to the public for Pratyusha's sake. The marks on her face that Kamya and Vikas are saying is definitely questionable and that CCTV footage of Saloni assaulting Prats and Rahul just watching should be looked at by the authorities.

Mumbai: In a surprising development, lawyer Neeraj Gupta representing actor-director Rahul Raj Singh, who is accused of abetment to suicide of television star Pratyusha Banerjee, exited from the case here on Wednesday.

Gupta has claimed Singh concealed certain crucial details of the case, and this prompted him to listen to his conscience and leave the case.

So happy to see everyone on the right side this time. Kamya, Vikas, Shashank and her friends are taking offense on the word Depression because the Depression theory leads to suicide, whereas it was quite a case of Cold-Blooded Murder or an Accidental Murder, but definitely not suicide.

Yes you're right.. And also it feels wonderful to see that Pratyusha had managed to make some GEMS of friends which also says a lot about her own nature.. In a world where nobody gives two hoots about anyone, it feels great to see this friend circle trying their best to find out the truth, assisting parents, comforting them.. I mean they bought the tickets for Pratysha's parents.. Who does that in today's world.. Really.. This also shows what a great friend/person Pratyusha must have been to concur such love from her friends within such short span of time.. My faith in humanity gets restored seeing such unquestionable support and love from near and dear ones in the hour of need.. ❤️

It's indeed wonderful feeling to see her friends support for her parents and in the manner they are voicing what they feel and looking for the truth.

Like you said she must have done something right with these people cuz it's rare to find such friends today let alone in the industry.

I just still wish it didn't come to this, I didn't know Pratyusha but things like this just break your heart.

I hope he gets what he deserves if he is involved in any way.

I am really shocked to see all these posts...didn't expect this guy to be such a creep. One thing that is now ascertained is that indeed theres a lot which is fishy in this case. That video where Smita (Sumitra from BV) is so broken its heart wrenching...I have seen her with Pratyusha so many times...even after Pratyusha left Balika, they all used to hang out together and post pictures. Smita is a very genuine lady, she loved Pratyusha like a sister I am sure she cant be lying.

And one thing which I wish everyone who is badmouthing that girl whose even no more and calling her names knew is what Vikas said. Pratyusha indeed was a sweetheart...she was a great friend. That was the reason these people Smita, Shashank, Siddharth used to be there on all her parties. No of her costars have ever had any issues with her. Her last costar Kanwar Dhillon he would always praise about how jovial she was. The fact that such solidarity is rarely seen from an entertainment industry for a star says a lot about how sweet that girl was. Yes people think that she fell in bad company or she was not that smart, kinda too young and childish, But she was a very sweet and happy go lucky girl...I just hope and pray that justice is restored as soon as possible.

Where were this friends when she was alive? Do you all think police is idiot and doesnt know its job?!

These celebrities commenting and teaching how police should do its job its ridiculous. So police is their servant to come and tell each and every lead in this case to her "friends". All these fakers are in for publicity and specially this Vikas to improve his image. This dude didnt even speak with Pratyusha for 3 months according to TOI and now is giving Press Cons with no evidences just hearsay.

Use some brains ppl. Rahul may a douchebag but these celebrities are no less. More, Pratyusha had tried to kill herself twice before also. This was not one incident. So it can be clinical depression. We dont know. More, she did have financial problems although she was working, Shashank and one police article mentioned that.

So dont be in a hurrry to call someone murderer before the court does. I am not defending Rahul at all but what these "friends" are doing is called creating a perception. This should be a court case and not a media case.

Disgusting how things are turning out to be. Read TOI article on these "friends" you will understand what I am trying to say. Before the camera and in reality things are different.
