So dont be in a hurrry to call someone murderer before the court does. I am not defending Rahul at all but what these "friends" are doing is called creating a perception. This should be a court case and not a media case.

Disgusting how things are turning out to be. Read TOI article on these "friends" you will understand what I am trying to say. Before the camera and in reality things are different.

First of all, many of these friends were still in touch with her even till 7 days back. They know her better than her boyfriend and parents as she was clearly close to her friend group.

Secondly, if Rahul has provoked/abetted her to suicide, then also he is guilty.

You seem to have believed in everything TOI publishes. TOI has lost ALL ALL its credibility over the past 3/4 yrs. There is no truth in TOI articles and half of them are own interpretation instead of being truth-driven. And Police does know how to do their job ? Really ? You mean in India ? I can name at least 20 high profile case at this point where Police has shown utter incompetence and negligence due to which the criminals are roaming free in the world. Sadly, in India, Police DO NOT know their job and instead of being Public-servant, they are still Government-Servants and Govt is NOT for public yet.

Media is the last resort one has to take to demand for Justice. Media has performed great in few of the cases (e.g. Nirbhaya). A good media can direct a whole case to proper direction of investigation. That's why there is such huge responsibility on Media these days, which is again being misused as well. But at least people are talking about it and not letting it die anytime soon because there is a good chance that when this hoopla stops, the guilty would scott free without any punishment with the influence of his Congress MP mother.

Vikas and kamya admitted that because of pratyousha personal problems she cut off from her.and she had no financial problems as soon as I heard it on news channels I found it wrong ciz I follow sbs n they show her in every events post power couple she got sasural,then she did some other events too infact there was every other day het day outs on sbb or sbs where she mentioned she is in talks with producers. Power couple she did and stayed there for two months. All these stories are spread by Rahul family.rahul is a culprit even if he abetted or force her to do won't u think he should be punish?the guy was with her for a year two times she file complain a group of ppl came to her house and try to molest then Rahul emi's issue Rahul was in debt

I understand your concern but if you compare the way Dolly Bindra and Rakhi Sawant has been acting and see Kamya, Vivek, Leena and others speak in press conferences, you'll see a big difference. They are not sensationalising Pratyusha's death. They are laying down the facts. They are protecting Pratyusha's image that is being tarnished by Rahul and her father.

Rahul made comments that Pratyusha had no contact with her parents, that they were taking all her money, that she was an alcoholic and would belittle him from time to time. His father called her a manglik and was showing her kundli to the press. Rahul and his father's stories don't match about why Rahul disappeared from the hospital. They claim to care so much about Pratyusha but all they have done is find faults in her in order to portray her as a bad person. Rahul's own lawyer has made statements against Rahul explaining why he dropped their case. That speaks volumes.

Vivek has said that Rahul has been seen in public beating up Pratyusha and isn't making any claims about how their relationship was behind closed doors. It would be so easy for him to make statements that he is sure that she was being abused at home.

I know we should have faith in the police and their investigation but it really seems like the police has not been up to par in their responsibilities. A man brings a girl's dead body to the hospital and is allowed to leave? Isn't that a HUGE deficiency in the investigation?

Yes, perhaps he's not a murderer but it seems highly likely that he could have killed her at this point.

Pratyusha Banerjee suicide: Rahul Raj Singh's anticipatory bail application rejected

Rahul had filed an anticipatory bail application at Dindoshi sessions court.

Rahul Raj Singh's anticipatory bail plea has been rejected by a Mumbai court. Actor-producer Rahul Raj Singh, against whom a case has been lodged for abetment of his girlfriend and TV star Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide, had filed an anticipatory bail application at the Dindoshi sessions court.

Meanwhile, Falguni Brahmbhatt, Pratyusha's family's lawyer said: "Court rejected Rahul Raj's bail plea. It's abetment of suicide or murder yet to be probed." Pratyusha's mother added: "Hamein pura pura shaq hai ki use maara gaya hai." (I suspect she has been killed)

Earlier, Rahul's previous lawyer Neeraj Gupta withrew from the case, saying he was "kept in the dark" about the details pertaining to the case. "I withdrew from the case on humanitarian grounds. I felt that I shouldn't be fighting the case, and hence left it be so that injustice is not done to anyone," Gupta told PTI.

"A client should pass on all the information, right or wrong, good or bad, to the lawyer, but I was kept in the dark and got all the details (pertaining to the case) from outside (media)," Gupta claimed.

Asked if he changed his mind after the FIR was filed against Rahul, he said, "The FIR has nothing to do with the decision. A lawyer is always prepared for such things." Rahul, currently in hospital, was yesterday booked for the abetment of suicide after police registered an FIR based on a complaint filed by the actress's mother Soma at Bangurnagar Police Station.

A case under IPC sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504, 506 (criminal intimidation), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of IPC has been registered against Rahul.

Police has, however, declined to divulge details regarding the investigation that led to registration of the FIR. They suspect that Rahul was in relationship with another woman about which the deceased was depressed.

Meanwhile, doctors attending on Rahul, who has been in hospital since Sunday morning, said that "he still has suicidal tendencies."

"I cannot leave him now because he can do anything. He is still on medication and becomes violent when effect of medicine wanes," Dr Santosh Goel, said, adding that he is under depression and at times calls out to Pratyusha.

On April 1, the 24-year-old actress, who shot to fame for her role of Anandi in hit TV series "Balika Vadhu", allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her flat at Goregoan area of western suburbs.

Just watched few videos and read articles...I have one word to say for Kamya and Vikas...God Bless you !

Those two are like two strong pillars at the moment for Pratyush'a parents and supporting them through this phase so well.

Whatever happens in future, they may get busy in their life, court case happens we don;t know , but what they are doing right now is commendable. Hard to find such friends in real life.

And I have no words for Dolly, Rakhi kinds. disgusting would be under statement.

I m sorry I m not able to understand what are you trying to convey to me here. What I want is justice. Even if we hate someone and even if he looks like an a** but if he is innocent then he shouldnt be punished. But if he was responsible in driving her to commit suicide and by our law is responsible for the crime then by all means he should be punished.

I or you are not the right authority to pass this judgement. Its the court and I want court to decide, not media not her attention grabbing friends.

I think you mean Vikas and not Vivek. Whatever Rahul and her parents are saying, police will verify it. Its not like their word will be taken as a fact. The fact that police arrested him for her suicide and now are inquiring on all the finances and was not given bail says that our police is doing a good job in this case.

I dont think you know Vikas's history. He is just trying to improve his tarnished image. This guy-Vikas, gathered all the people who were in touch with Pratyusha and Vikas disguised himself as one of them when in reality he was not even in touch with Pratyusha for 3 months and he spoke the most in the Press Con. More so, he was saying police is not doing things! What makes him the authority that police should report to him or inform him about everything. He is just an attention seeker and nothing else. More, in that Press Con these "friends" didnt let two of her friends be in PC because they were not "popular faces"! Can you believe this!! Such fakeness Such Disgusting attitude.

Rakhi and Dolly, I agree with you are the worst for making a mockery but so are these "friends" who are also for 5 minutes of fame and sympathy.

Again looking at things objectively, if what Rahul said is defaming Pratyusha then what these friends said is a contradiction. So all are bunch of liars and the truth lies in between the extremes. There were reports of how Pratyusha was thrown out of shows for her unprofessional behavior and how she & her bf together fabricated a story of molestation against the police when a person came to get EMI and Rahul beat him up. So we really dont know what the facts are to take anyone's side. Its better let the right authorities handle it instead of being prejudiced. Thats what I want.
