U can catogrise bhopl bhilaiya and talaash as horror or psychological horror. Bhool bhuliya was quite scary when it got a lot serious in the second half

Dont agree with the fact that Akki is the 'only' actor who can deliver in all genres because we have Aamir khan there. Who would have thought he could pull an sunny deol/sanjubaba like Action movie called 'Gajhni'? As a fan even I didn't !
Anyway what is more important is Akki is really capable of delivering all genres. He excels in comedy, action, thriller, supercop/agent type of role. But he was so so loveable in Namastey London. Sangharsh was not a romantic movie but I really felt his love for Priety's character most of the time portrayed only through eyes.

Why does it matter whether a role was done 10 yrs back or 20 years back? Once you are pulling off something with elan that will stay with you for lifetime !

Personally I love him. He is getting sexier, sassier than ever and than anyone 😛 He leads a good life, out of rat race and pretense.

Wish he had some backing of powerful director to prove his mettle more !

Aamir khan films became content driven post earth, otherwise if you look at his filmography, all his movies were commercial entertainers apart from raakh

Yes may be but majorly it wasnt purely horror, more of thriller/mystery perhaps.

Most of Aamir's successful films were not "commercial" . DIL, QSQT was
But he was mainly getting success in middle of the road movies - JJWS, DHMN, HHRPK etc

Tbh I didn't think aamir pulled of a sunny style in ghajni, yes movie may have been successful due to aamir a popularity and festive season, but he came accross more comical, he was good I romantic scenes and emotional scenes but was average in the action scenes he didn't look intimidating or scary hardman

In Bollywood, none of them mainstream actors can do comedy as well as Akki. He is a pro, even his body language is enough to tickle your bones, there's no need for very fancy dialogues in his case, just the way he delivers them is amazing. He is doing extreme well in the serious action/Thriller zone as well. Hardly goes OTT, comes across very disciplined, calm composed and focussed in those roles. He has gained immense popularity through his rugged massy action hero roles, as well. Like Main Khiladi, TA and RR. I think he hasn't done depressed or mentally exhausted kinda roles, which again require a lot of skill. But still, I'd consider him to be pretty versatile. He can be different in every movie, if he wants. He has that talent.

Those movies were commercial but well written commercial films. You can't class them in offbeat genres.

Each person is supposed to have different opinion
But i guess majority people enjoyed Gajhni.

He was fresh after TZP which was a completely different film but it was not BO in terms of money
Also only a good movie can reap the holiday or special day advantage.
Gajhni was enjoyable so it made money !
