Slumdog Millionaire was taken up by Fox Searchlight. If I'm not wrong it's a studio in Hollywood. Danny Boyle , the director of Slumdog has made movies like Steve Jobs, 127 Hours , Trainspotting out there. All of which are critically acclaimed movies so to assume it was a project that had no value is effing hilarious!

His team denied it , so did Paramount. I was just quoting to you an article out there since you were talking about what the media said about Tom when he came here. The same media that praised him here , interviewed some of the fans who attended that premiere and talked about how they were paid and what not. Nowhere I again wish to repeat am I saying those claims are right , just talking about the media aspect here as you chose to focus on it.

I'm not an astrologer man. I wouldn't know what Fareed will call TC when he talks to him in the future that is if he chooses to do that. You went to how he is an Indian born living there to which I said not everything has to have an agenda to it. It's not the first time he has interviewed Shahrukh. He has interviewed him previously as well. So this notion that he would call Shahrukh the biggest because he is Indian born as well is a bit silly. Which is why I chose to cite some other examples out there as well.

And did you see me refuting any of those articles or even bothering to comment on them? That should tell you a little about where I'm coming from. I have been talking all along about one interview here and base that was considered in that interview to conclude what it did.

Do I think Shahrukh is as huge in America as Tom is there? Hell no! 😆 Where did you get that from? Just like Tom ain't huge in India , Shahrukh ain't huge in America. He's popular amongst the diaspora there , just like Tom here is popular amongst those who watch Hollywood movies.

Slum dog had half of its team as indians, A R rahman, dev patel, Frieda pinto, the cinematographer and then even if Shah was offered Anil's role which was not even the lead role then what is so great in rejecting that film or even being offered that film ? A film based on an indian slum dweller and showing the Indian slum culture , will obviously have Indians to make it perfect .

i am from Bangladesh , and these days people around me love Salman khan 😆 . most are boys though, but i do not see the same for SRK or Aamir in my place here , but all three are very popular .

my younger sister likes SRK though, but she is stuck with DDLJ since ages so i understand that she likes DDLJ and not everything SRK does . 😆
