SRK/Aamir fans are so weird.

First of all they bash Salman saying he was not a big part of HAHK but then when it comes to insulting Salman they include HAHK for bashing purposes.

Anyway in my opinion DDLJ is something I could never finish, it is very overrated.

HAHK on the other hand is simpler and heartwarming! ❤️

DDLJ FTWW.. IT WAS A TREND SETTER ALL THE WAY.. CHANGED THE NAKSHA OF INDIAN CINEMA AND IS ICONIC IN EVERYWAY..

HAHK was a rehash of Rajshree Film's Nadiya Ke Paar which was a much more simple, sweet and innocent movie!

HAHK was basically a long running wedding video with too many songs, with the whole family singing and dancing together which looked hilarious sometimes. 😆 Besides it was totally Madhuri's show all the way from her dances to her costumes to her mischievous charm, fake coughing Uhhu uhhhu...😳

DDLJ was not only a worldwide grosser but it was an ATBB in India too!

Not only were Raj-Simran the ultimate romantic pair with iconic songs, unforgettable dialogues, beautiful locations but that whole ethos of NRIs living and working abroad but their hearts always beating for home country, that sentiment worked bigtime for NRIs! 👏

While the sarson ke khet mein romance, Simran's extended family in their Pind, and Babuji ka permission paana for their love, those sentiments worked bigtime for Indian audiences!

Thats why DDLJ is still running in Maratha Mandir morning show for last 20 yrs. When they tried to take it off the screen, so many fans protested that they had to cancel the decision and its still running!

Nobody can beat Raj-Simran's popularity! NOBODY! 😃

HAHK wasn't just bigger , it was much bigger hit.

And no, HAHK doesn't rule internet, it's DDLJ which rules internet because many young people use it.

Talking about real life, HAHK is far more popular film than DDLJ. It's songs & dances are way more iconic. HAHK is loved by the people of all age group while DDLJ is generally loved by only youngsters.

There is a reason why it gets telecast many times more than than DDLJ on TV.

You hear more about DDLJ because young people talks about it while the people who love HAHK would not be talking about films.

And one more point, Can anyone ignore the EXTRA efforts made by YRF to make it look more iconic and bigger hit. Everyone knows that the film isn't running that well in Maratha Mandir but YRF is still trying to force it.

The last show of the iconic film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, was supposed to be on February 19 but the Maratha Mandir management was flooded with requests to reinstate the movie based on which they decided to reconsider their decision.

Agreed DDLJ handsdown. I remember its songs played literally Everyday in radios in my schoolbus back then. I even knew the name of the movie and trust me I was too young to have any favourites then. Only such 'craze and hype' works back then Not the Stars. And like one comment here, I wasn't aware of HANK too untill here in IF. Had it been Maine pyaar kiya then it wud've been a close one.
