Gosh..Both movies are such a bore and are quintessential example of How Not To Act.

Madhuri and Kajol along with Reema laggoo,Farida Jalal and Amrish Puri are only saving grace from these movies .Rest of the casts' loud and over the top acting is such a fail 👎🏼 especially SRK and Salman.

Torturous experience. 😕

HAHK broke all records when it was released more prints, more shows, more screens were added coz its demand was so huge. 😆

HAHK is the bigger grosser, no question. But DDLJ will always be the bigger film and definitely more iconic film.

DDLJ is definitely more respected and iconic film worldwide imo.

It's how most people feel, kinda feel sorry for HAHK, it never gets recognition 😆😆

HAHK was good, but I agree. I don't think I could sit through it again. Despite not being a fan of SRK I can watch DDLJ at anytime

Family dramas had more audience during that era so HAHK had to earn more than DDLJ so what's the fuss about?

According to me today's audience would opt for DDLJ over HAHK so that's how DDLJ has dominated HAHK.

Strictly my opinion

DDLJ if released today would be like YJHD on steroids. Blockbuster.

HAHK if released today would perform similar to PRDP

HAHK was a great movie but it was more about family drama whereas DDLJ was more for the youth like if HAHK was a perfect family movie than DDLJ was the perfect romantic movie n suddenly girls wanted a perfect guy like Raj or guys wanted a girl like Simran n somewhere it beautifully showed how Indians leave their country to work outside but still India remains in their heart

Agreed. This is what it comes down to, DDLJ is the most iconic film in Bollywood, with the most iconic scene in Bollywood between the most iconic jodi in Bollywood.
