This spy action thriller, the first in a two-part series, stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian spy. Hamza infiltrates Pakistan's Lyari underworld as part of a covert anti-terror operation. The film also references real-world events and geopolitical tensions, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
The film, featuring R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles, garnered mostly positive reviews and became a blockbuster thanks to strong audience feedback. Dhurandhar earned ?1,207 crore in 31 days, surpassing the lifetime collection of Yash's KGF 2 (?1,200 crore).
