Cannot judge before the movie comes out!! Same was said for PC before her show came out, but now her being the lead suprised everyone!!

All of Ash's English films had substantial roles for her. The only film people think she didn't get a big role was in Pink Panther 2, but again she was the main villain of the film and she had the second best role in that ensemble film.

The franchise role will get her initial recognition from there on hopefully she gets better opportunities...but frankly aren't roles for Indians limited even now. TV shows have more diversity no doubt but movies are still pretty much white centric. Rarely has any female POC achieved long term commercial success since audience acceptance is still low.

After this movie, her best bet is TV.For right now, this Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson starrer movie will do it for her.
