i am sorry but this nation is intolerant and 70% of population living there is the proof of it..until these people don't stop with the threats and burning of posters of anyone who even raises a voice on any issue..i see no hope

the recent episode of fawad and mahira not being allowed to shoot in mumbai again only emphasises how intolerant is India. Shame!!

P.S: yes pakistan is worse..and yes i admit it being a pakistani..i don't want to be deluded..but just because India is better there..it still is intolerant..and the first step in changing it would be when people realize that and change themselves

Sorry, don't want to sound obnoxious. It is not like, one set of people are superior to other. End of the day, we all are human beings with good and bad things within us. I am only comparing policies of two governments and some statistical figures.

There are many countries, who claim equality. But how many of them would grant quota (seats dedicated for them) in education, jobs? Does US do it for Blacks or Asian? Does Pakistan do it for Hindus? (As far as I know, there exists a reverse policy. Native Sindhis have quota over migrant Mohajeers). But India gives reservations for minority communities (Muslims and Christians). It is another question, whether it is going to the needed (poor) or creamy layor of the community taking benefits. But if anyone says, let it apply equally to all poor irrespective of communities, one cries fowl and says they are snatching minority rights. How ?

No country allowes minorities to follow their own law. India allows Sharia law for Muslims. Again if someone says, let the law be same for everyone, people cry minority rights are snatched. How?

In how many countries minority population has doubled in percentage (considering India had a population of a billion, doubling percentage is a huge number).

U.S. or England, though secular in nature, they basically have Christian ethos. There is a week off on Christmas, but no day off on Eid or Diwali. India must be the only country, where all three communities have holidays for their respective festivals.

True, none of these will bring security to minority. But Dadri lynching also does not instil terror in minority. The incident was unfortunate. But we human beings are selfish. We get scared more, when we can also happen to be one like the victim. Mumbai shooting scares me. Such random thing can happen in my city too. The gang rape in Delhi scares me. Such men can be in my city too. But the death happened in a remote village does not shake us to that extent. Yes I do feel sad, but not with the intensity of the other two. That is the harsh reality of us, human beings.

There have been violent riots in city too over beef issue. But that is when beef was thrown on a procession from a temple on a festival day (Imagine Hindu community throwing pork on the people returning from Namaz on Eid day). But never usually over normal consumption.

Unlike us (normal Human beings) Amir's wife was not alarmed because of first two incidents, instead the last one. His theatrical narration of the fear, over a incident, which would never happen in his life put people off. He was just playing the same victim hood card, which is displayed by Muslim political leaders, all these years.

Secondly, every country is pointing fingers at us and speaking over tolerance, because of his blanketed statement. Yesterday, a black boy was knocked dead by Police in U.S. Months back, an old Indian parent was left brooding. Nobody points at US for intolerance on one stray incident. Why us?

As far as Shivsena, it has been in India for decades as migraine and people are tolerating it. It is not that, they have been always against Muslims. They are basically bunch of goons, who could have been hired by any party before. Earlier, they were against South Indians (Hindus) settled in Mumbai. They were quite aggressive against the restaurants run by the South Indian community. But still the restaurants are running. Recently they had turned against Bihari Drivers in Mumbai. Once in a while, they also display anti Muslim agitation. But nothing is consistent. Nobody takes them seriously. But sometimes, they can be real threats (like Mumbai riots in 90s). Current one is just time pass, attention seeking one.

I think u guys got it all wrong. Aamir is talking on behalf of majority coz its always fingers r pointed towards majority and demands for more rights for minorities.😉 Its abt time some crusader like spoke up abt the issue. Hindu logo ke liye bol raha hai.

Dont worry aamir, when u did program on Indian traffic and bad habits of drivers which does include DUI so u didnt mention ur frnd salman's name.And gave full supoort like true frnd wud do. Now, thats what u call tolerance.

Sau chuhe khake, karodo banake, billi hajj ko nikli hai, dudh pilao. Ghar me tatti kare to show tolerance.

Ek kaam kar aamir, apne bete naam Azad se badalke Gulam kar de. Dono naam allowed hai.

And never fight with goons in ur films, teach and show ppl to how to tolerate.

If u forgot...Dangal is releasing in Dec 2016 not Dec 2015...public memory is short,...no one will remember this chaos after an year😆😆

Instead of trying to scare Aamir into silence, why not try to ask why he said what he did? How is shutting him up going to help anyone? It's not going to change his mind, it's not going to help the country evolve and it's not going to encourage other people to speak up in the future. What is the point?

No I didn't forget and very well know Dangal is releasing next year...as far as this nautanki goes...Aamir needed to be in news could be to bring dangal in news / or himself...publicity for either...otherwise his statement ( or what his wife said ) doesn't make any sense whatsoever - to me atleast 😛😆
