Shiv Sena will now award people with 1 lakh rupees to slap Amir Khan. I mean of course its not like Maharashtra has any problem such as drought that these highly patriotic and nationalist party needs to take care of. Use the money to spread more violence and negativity not like anyone is going to file a case against them for being threats to this country. Its only reserved for people who prefer words rather than violence.

More than that I think there should be a thorough screening of people and their ideologies before giving licence to them to form a party in this country. It should be a law. But expecting criminals to make law against criminals is pretty dumb on my side I guess.

I disagree with a lot of what Aamir said..I m disappointed but surely not disillusioned by him. I have not lost all respect for him.

so PM Modi has announced there will be a debate on intolerance in parliament.

Minorities in Pakistan are in worse condition. US report on International Religious Freedom places Pakistan in worst countries for religious freedom.

Minorities also keep protesting against hate material taught in textbooks.

I can't believe Pakistanis here gleefully generalise and bash India but defend own country. Or try to use sentiments and protests of Indians to take out own hatred against India.

Does Pakistan have people from other communities as top politicians, leaders, businessmen, celebrities, army chiefs, intelligence chiefs the way India has had?

India was blamed for even renaming a damned road whereas Pakistan has lot of Sikh and Hindu heritage in ruins till date.

India is blamed for bans but no one talks about Pakistan banning a film on suggestion of a terrorist. No one talks about Pakistan banning NGOs (recent ban was on Save the Children).

These people pride themselves for welcoming Sikh pilgrims once in a year but will not talk about Sikhs who disappeared or were beheaded recently.

Christians? Pakistani Christians run an online newspaper. Anyone can read it to see what they suffer.

And what about Ahmaddiya community? Only 2 days ago a mob treated them to burnings.

These people who bash India here forgot that Pakistani writers themselves wrote articles warning India that it should not become a Hindu Pakistan or Hindu Saudi. 😆

Your country has blasphemy laws of its own whereas you guys love to mock controversies related to religious sentiments in India.

Their countries are the worst. But they want to bash others or equate 70% India with their country. 😆

Keep ranting India is unsafe, intolerant while your artists clamour to work here. And the Khans who you paint minority victims don't even feel that way and still want to remain in India. 😆

the recent episode of fawad and mahira not being allowed to shoot in mumbai again only emphasises how intolerant is India. Shame!!

P.S: yes pakistan is worse..and yes i admit it being a pakistani..i don't want to be deluded..but just because India is better there..it still is intolerant..and the first step in changing it would be when people realize that and change themselves

Aamir's statement did what award wapsi didn't do..which means his words hold value.

M so happy to have a govt. who listens and agrees to a debate even when it has been hated n misinterpreted so much.

I hope everyone's reservations against the govt. r removed and something good comes out of this

Intolerance debate has been going on for a long time now and it was always going to be debated. Especially after mass return of awards by writers, artists, singers and international media questioning Modi over this at press confs abroad.

It is not your Aamir who made this happen or due to whom Modi decided to debate this in Parliament.

Fans think there faltu celebs run the world! 😆
