I agree, but then there is a balanced way to discuss sensitive matters like religious intolerance as well.
I hold Aamir equally responsible for giving fodder to saffron loonies.
He defends one religion and says we cannot generalise. But then he generalises country?
Even when questioned on difference in response to various incidents he casually said reactions are natural and cannot be calibrated. What was he trying to imply? He did not even try:to be diplomatic here.
This proves double standards.
Aamir Khan has been party to:encouraging saffron loonies and proving them right. His statement and even current response only adds to increased:polarisation which we are witnessing in India and globally now.
Naseeruddin Shah has rightfully criticised him and asked not to add to persecution complex among Muslims.
Protesting intolerance is right but words have to be chosen carefully.
By crying "bullying" now you people are also driving the victimhood wars further.
I don't say protestors are right but loudmouth loosely worded attention seeking words of likes of Aamir Khan are not right either. When he says he has been proven right it shows it was an expected publicity stunt which unfolded as he wanted.
Don't think he or others don't know how such words are going to be received. He has clashed with same party earlier and milked the controversy to project himself as icon of democracy.
To me both Aamir and others are drama queens.
@Bold : Perfect. 😆 One wants to run away and the other party always want to shoo away. Between all these, we keep wasting our time by indulging ourselves in this drama.
