What are the most irritating situations you've faced in a relationship?
I've faced a lot of situations. Like standing in queues, paying the bills, not replying to messages, getting scolded or having fights. I have had my share of experience in a relationship. I really hate standing in front of the trial rooms and waiting for the girlfriend to come out after changing into her clothes. Standing with four other guys who will be staring at their girlfriend when they come out, is really irritating. Girls don't understand that.
What's that one thing guys should know about dating girls?
You should know the girl before dating her because it's a fast paced life these days. I've seen a lot of people dating each other without knowing each other. It has its own pros and cons. I would want to be in a relationship only after knowing her for months. It's really important.
What's the one tip you'd give to girls when it comes to dating?
You should give him space and you should trust him. You should not ask for his passwords. You should not ask him to wait for two hours when you have said that you are coming down in twenty minutes. You should not make him pay your bills.
List the three qualities you'd look for in a partner.
Honesty, trust and space.
What's your biggest pet peeve when it comes to relationships or dating?
The most irritating thing that happens again and again is they want to talk to you every second. In my monologue also I say these lines - 'Unko sone se pehle baat karni hai, jaagne ke baad baat karni hai, din pura nahin padta kya ki sone se pehle aur jagne ke baad, dono time bata karni hai...' I feel, they always want to talk. They can't stop talking which is the most irritating thing about them. I think they should be quite for a minute and instead of having Karva chauth ka vrat they should keep maun vrat. That will help us be livelier and our life span will increase by a year.
Do you believe in the age-old rule that men should always be the ones to pay on dates?
I don't believe it. But sometimes, in the beginning you can do it in the name of chivalry. Today we talk about equality and be it a boy or a girl, both can pay. In fact, I think you should make it a habit to go dutch because once you start splitting it becomes a habit. It should be non-negotiable. To be honest, it doesn't show your manliness or anything. It's just a mind frame. We are trained like that. Men should always pay. But these days both are equal and both should pay.
Tell us what's the best pick-up line you've ever used or someone has used on you.
"Baby, we go together like daal and bhaat. You are like chutney to my samosa." or "Baby, you are hotter than garma-garam chai"! It was really stupid and yes, I have used these lines. Oh, and also, "When I look at you, kuch kuch hota hai."
Have you ever faced heartbreak? If so, what's the best remedy according to you?
I'm still looking for a girl who can actually break my heart. So I don't know the remedy right now.
If someone breaks your heart or plays foul in a relationship, would you rather get back at them or just move on? Why?
I won't get back. I will think of getting back but I won't get back. I will try to move on.
