Watching po*n is not a sin, but taking it to ur bedroom or trying to emulate it in real life is sick. There have been cases where ppl have watched violent po*n n tried it on innocent victims. Acc to certain statistics I read in paper, po*n doesn't lead to rape. I donno how true is that...trying some things on or wife/gf is f9 but getting desperate n trying it on anybody you can lay hands is too much. I have seen people watching po*n n getting wrong perceptions about sex n human body. Not to forget the agony the people featuring in po*n go through. I do agree that the art of love making is dying down...ppl find it easier to watch po*n, than perform the act itself. Finally I feel it boils down to ur upbringing...some ppl watch it for fun, some ppl take it way too serious. So, I am quiet confused whether it shud be banned or no.

po*n should be banned. The people who want to see it, will see it anyways. Through vpn or using poxy sites. But officially po*n should be banned. Its distructive and addictive and it messes with young brains big time.

Bingo! Who ever is really desperate will get thr hands on it. But the kids mainly youngsters shouldnt have easy access to it.

I don't think people realize how destructive it to your brain. Put simply, it dumbs you down. There's proper research backing this claim. Google is your friend, use it.

Women are exploited in the sex industry, it is horrific to them.

i dont see whats the big deal...B and C-grade movies have been around for so long, they haven't been banned yet... and po*n movies have been available since many decades... nude magazines etc have been around for so long..then why the sudden need to ban po*n now? Why cant they just regulate websites who indulge in child po*nography and without concent mms clips etc... its not really difficult to do that!
Besides, who is govt to decide whether a person should watch a po*n or not? It is nt like people still wont watch po*n bcoz they can always be downloaded... and wht about our ancient temples etc... is the govt planning to also destroy all our temples which has those sleazy sculptures?

You can control your child at home but what about outside? Kids aren't innocent anymore. If they aren't allowed to watch stuff at home, they find alternatives.

I will never get why people will want to watch two random strangers doing it anyways.

Anyone heard of the film Deep throat? Linda lovelace was so abused and drugged, she was made to have sex with a dog on tape. But then again, the liberals would want the same in India, like the bestial houses of Denmark.
po*n stars are usually drug addicts and abused, especially the women. Recently, there was also the case of some po*n star who gave a bunch of his colleagues HIV.

ANy sane person can think for themselves what making po*n does to these people-the actors.

When its about ourselves, we protest about freedom and all. But like Irrfan had said, if we think about what damage it can do to our kids, a country-wide ban can at least limit the access to po*n. I know adolescents always find a way to stuff that are banned to them (po*n, drugs etc) but at least we can protect pre pubercent children with such a ban.

It should be banned in India.
"It can mess up perceptions of gender equations for all times"

This statement is not only applicable to five-year-old children, but adults too. There are adults with messed up perceptions of gender equations.

I do not recommend a po*n ban. Let people decide for themselves what they want to do with their lives.

These are lame Excuses,A parent can't monitor what their child are doing 24/7
Somtimes they can watch it with their Friends!

You cant let people do whatever they want if you want a Healthy society.
Even birds have their Own limits for Flying.

And if you know anything about po*n,you would know that the Biggest reason why i hate that stuff is Not because of the Open Sex...It's because of the Filthy Background Story!
Underaged Sex,Incest,Cheeting,Threesome,Rape,Gangbang...Imagine a 10 year old watching this,if these things dont change someone's mentality then i dont know what does.🤢

I hate how people are criticising the Idea of Banning po*n...their are so many people who Are addicted and wants to stop doing it,this is The Best Opportunity for them!
