Why Did Veer, London Dreams, and MAMK Not Work? - Page 3

Tere Naam came before Veer.It is a south remake.Not a masala kind movie.Sad ending.Suprisingly became hit.May be because of hit music.Though I liked Tere Nam.

2000-2008 - Salman films which i like: HDJPK, KPNHJ coz of that romance, Tumko na bhool payenge was copy of Bourne series but had that amazing Salman style in action & family backdrop, 1 hell of an entertainer. Tere Naam, 1 of the epic Salman film which brought back his star status then, even now it's hair style is huge rage, songs, story, his class act. Garv, massy action film. MSK yet another rom-com, hilarious. Lucky was good, but odd pairing. Then 3 rom-coms - MPKK & No Entry (Baap of all comedies) & Partner. 1 film that i still think is very underrated is Jaanemann - Salman was amazing in that film, but pitched against Don, it was washout.

Coz those were not Biggest hits of the year, no major records as compare to films which Salman doing now or even in 90's. So to bring Salman down, his naysayers use that segment of years.

Dude I still think they were better movies. And I'm praising his work in that period as a nay-sayer. 😆 What I don't like is the recent work.

MAMK-I wont call it a Salman movie...its Sohail in every frame😆

London dreams-outdated concept..Ajay was unintentionally funny...God awful direction.

Veer-I guess wrong timing? I thought Salman was decent performance wise..Better direction and release in 90s would've ensured it being a success :S

Veer was painstaking and salman cant save a period drama as it needs acting more this dhinka chika

MAMK Wasn't really his film and he hardly contributed to the film

Without "Dhoom Machale" kind of style, Hrithik couldn't save Jodha Akbar, it was Semi-Hit, same with the case of Veer, Average fare.

but everyone thought Hrithik did a fantastic job at acting in JA.
