SRK always got better reviews than Aamir in early 90s. That's why people like Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam also wanted to work with him.

But yes he spoiled his inage with Dharma/Farah shit. So people try to negate what he did earlier.

NONE of the Khans have done a true negative role. They take any frustrated guy role to compare with Darr and Anjaam! That's not how it is.

SRK terrorised people with Darr and Anjaam. His colleagues had to advise him to stop doing such roles lest his career got ruined. 😆

I am a Punjabi myself. So I know better than critics atleast, how much Aamir fit his character or not.

There are very few who got the Punjabi essence right.

I have always loved SRK more than Aamir but I must admit that SRK does overacting in his emotional scenes. Maybe he cant help it, his nostrils flare too much, his voice shakes, but we find it more amusing than emotional. 😆 Hes brilliant in negative roles, thats what made me his fan in the first place after watching Baazigar and Darr in 1993. Hes fantastic as a true blue baddie. ⭐️

Baazigar for eg is not a negative character. But Darr and Anjaam are. They have no transition or redeeming factors.

PC in Aitraaz is a negative character.

Others are grey or anti heroes. For eg, Earth, Khalnayak, Sunil Dutt in Mother India etc.

A grey character can be negative as well. That is the whole point. Dil Nawaz was not an anti-hero at all. Neither was Aamir.

Aamir got universal critical acclaim for that movie. Almost everyone thought he was perfect to the T. Not just in India but worldwide. I remember my friends being blown away by how natural and to the point he was.

Especially the scene where he breaks down in Sue's arms. It is one of the best enacted scene I have ever seen.
