I swear that movie was so bad! I got so sick of hearing that "3 logon ko help karo" dialgue in the movie, I actually DIDNT FEEL LIKE HELPING ANY HUMAN BEING after watching that movie 🤢This movie is by no means an oscar winning movie but still is one of the few good movies of 2014. PK has had a huge weekend of around 92.50 crore nett. The film had a start which was not up to the mark at places but on Sunday it had extraordinary numbers all over with all circuits at record levels or close to record levels.
The film grossed 26 crore nett on Friday, 29.50 crore nett on Saturday and 37 crore nett on Sunday. The business is being driven by multiplexes with multiplex to single screen ratio much higher when compared to other big blockbusters. The trend of the film is phenomenal with a 11 crore nett gain on Sunday from Friday.
This can happen when a film is very lopsided towards multiplex collections as Saturday and Sunday are best days for multiplex collections. The mass centres were excellent on Sunday and if this continues it will post a huge lifetime total, possibly the biggest ever.
