I don't know why you are so biased against fair skin, esp in the case of Katrina. I live in the US but even here she would be considered beautiful and hot. Just because you don't find her pretty doesn't mean you can speak for EVERYBODY in your region. 4 years ago when SKJ came out, my American roommate who doesnt even understand hindi would watch SKJ again and again because she liked Katrina + song/dance.

Actually, Katrina has one of the most international fan following among actresses. If you look at her fanclubs in twitter, she has fans from all over the world...from Turkey to Iran to Russia. Because people from different ethnicity can relate to her (as she is of mixed race) and find her pretty according to their standards.

im not biased. our country is.lol. i have nothing against kat..again im just sayingwhat other people around me have said.

Well people around me find her sexy. Even Zayn Malik from One Direction used to have a crush on her. 😆

While it's unfortunate that India still lives under the shadow of coloniolism and continues to churn out the max number of fairness brands, you cannot only point at Katrina for India's twisted beauty standards. Kareena, Karishma and Aish are fairer and more western looking.

i know i have talked about them as well in my previous post actually. im not blaming them im blaming the societys distorted standards and thinking.

Its a reverse game I guess. Earlier, female actors had stunning faces accompanied by unflattering bodies. Today, we have great bodies with (mostly) average faces.
