Why Akshay Kumar is underrated actor? - Page 2

No, i don't think he is underrated. Can someone tell me one role where he should receive an award for best actor but missed 😆? I am a big fan of his. I believe he has achieved what he deserved to achieve. His position is very good, after Khans, it's him!

True but he himself said he never understood jury . Eddie Murphy ,Robbie Williams all r known for comedy but in India if u do comedy it means its an easy job.

A very talented actor who wasted his talent doing too many crap movies .

maybe coz he do many movies out of which half of them are flops
this reduces his credibility as a actor
he should choose scripts well and shouldn't agree to al the offers

To win awards, you have to polish Jitesh Pillai shoes. Akshay is not the kind of guy who will do that. I don't expect Ranveer to win awards either. For example, Ranveer might lose to Ranbir next year for best actor even if he acts better than Ranbir and to pull off a role of Bajirao is 100% more difficult than pulling of 1960's normal guy role.

Your direct link to the filmy family matters for these awards. Lot of lobbying. Indian awards don't have credibility

He is underrated bec he doesn't "SELL" himself saying he is a Bhai ( SK ) / King ( SRK) / or a perfectionist ( AK). He is a bigger entertainer than even Ajay Devgan. He and Saif Ali started almost at the same time..but SAK was welcomed warmly bec of his Mom and Pataudi blood.

I agree with @movies4life that he has somehw lost the crediaiblity with doing sooo many movies in a year. He does about 4 or 5 and only 1 connects sometimes so not good. He should do more quality stuff. Bt than again with these indian awards they are all rigged and the judges want ass kissing and AK is definitely no ass kisser.
