He is underrated bec he doesn't " SELL" himself saying he is a Bhai ( SK ) / King ( SRK) / or a perfectionist ( AK).

He is a bigger entertainer than even Ajay Devgan in my opinion. He and Saif Ali started almost at the same time..but SAK was welcomed warmly bec of his Mom and Pataudi blood.

Akshay K had no connections in industry and even now..don't think he is a part of any camp. So he will always be an underrated actor.

Yes n he said this many times. He is a self made man!

In BW u get credibility as an actor only if u do offbeat movies or work with ppl like Kashyap

But buttering also count n these days most of the awards r rigged.

I saw him on Anupam Kher show...and he says that people are given awards if they accept to perform unpaid or something.

he is not underrated nor overrated...he's just making money and wasting his talent 🥱 i think they removed comedy & negative roles category frm awards

Take a one look at his filmography and you will see why this is 😆😆😆

Thanks I have immense respect of srk n akki for making their careers despite being outsiders. This "outsider" tag sometimes loses credibility I know. .hehe..but they are where they are cos of themselves. Akki is a fabulous actor better than sallu and ajay sometimes. I think he is a bully esp in kwk n cnwk. Choose better scripts n keep doing comedy esp with priyadarshan. I love them

Because he does not challenge himself with good scripts.
