lovely post...reciprocates almost all my thoughts... 😳 I dint like any indian celebrity this much before her and I always thought my liking for her was short lived...but this girl is just too good to be forgotten ..like u said, coming from a different world and surviving in a different country, the position she has achieved is commendable ⭐️

some ppl accuse her for her hindi knowledge, mock her for her father's absence, but I think none of us chose our parents whether they will be celebrities or normal ppl or will leave us to deal with our life on our own, no one comes with all the knowledge of anything from mother's womb be it acting,or languages 😛.. it depends on ur attitude abt how u want to live ur life and where u want to head... Katrina has set an example on this ...maintaining her dignified silence most of the time, though ppl leave no chance to provoke her. And god willing, she will keep shining😳

She keeps quiet and refrains from making digs not because she is innocent and saintly, but because she and her team are both very clever. She does not wear her heart on her sleeve so is easily able to remain silent at all times.

I have nothing against Kat but let's be real here, nobody in Bollywood is innocent and saintly...even if they start out as such, you cannot survive in this industry and remain "innocent and saintly". Just not possible. In order to survive in BW you need to understand BW politics and even play by them, and only clever people who know their game can do that, not innocent and saintly people - innocents are crushed.

So I respect and admire Kat for surviving in this industry despite being an outsider (though she quickly developed connections - Sallu 😆) and not knowing the language. It was more difficult for her and yet she is one of the top actresses today. Good for her. 👍🏼

On a serious note I agree. Katrina never takes digs at others even if they take sigs towards her. She does her work and minds her own business. If we call any actress secure..it's Katrina and Katrina ONLY. And I love how her PR doesn't shove her popularity down our throat. She's hardly written about. That's because they know her work does the talking...she constantly delivers hits.

And coming to her acting..She's not as bad as everyone says she is..at least to me..I have liked her in a couple of films. She was amazing in Raajneeti. She was better than Ranbir in the film. And I liked her in ZNMD. I loved her in SIK and HDKG.

And one thing I love about her is that she doesn't have this am better than everyone attitude. Never heard her praise herself either.

And one thing..like you said she never complains or plays the victim card. She doesn't use the outsider card that every outsider loves to use.

Finally a positive post on Katrina. That's something rare around here. 😆

It's admirable that she came into BW not knowing the language or anything and today she is ruling. That's a real success story. I know there are people who helped her so some credit goes to them as well.

I do agree that she doesn't emote sometimes but she isn't as bad as the forum makes her out to be IMO. She dances like a dream and she is beautiful. Never understood the amount the hate she gets though.😆

Offscreen she seems really well-grounded. Never saw her take digs at anyone even when they did to her. Listened to few of her interviews and she sounded rather sensible.

Proud to be KK fan😎

Just remember, this is Bollywood. the things you see and feel are what they want you to see and feel...don't get too deep as things are never what they seem. I had quite the shock myself when I got an upclose feel..I never looked at the stars the same way again..I'm just saying stars are only good to be seen on screen..off screen, none of them are worth worshiping..😊

I agree...and going by the same logic...they shouldn't be bashed so much either...unless they have committed a serious crime.
