Is Kat the only foreign product who tried her hands at BW??? What about the other girls?? Amy Jackson for one...why didn't they survive...they were as white as Kat right?? I mean its one thing to say she is a bad actor...but then to discredit her of all her achievements just because she is fair is so so so sad and wrong...what would u say about Deepika,Priyanka, Rekha, Bipasha and there are several others...who are dusky and yet were successful...and then there were several fair ones that failed...I know that people do prefer fair skin in India and its a problem...but I don't think that fair skin counts that much when it comes to BW actresses...because we know how many dusky ones succeeded and how many fair ones failed...Konkona's dark skin is not a problem ...her facial features are...put Konkona and deepika side by side...both have the same skin tone...but its Deepika's face and her figure that is stunning...I wish konkona would do much better because she is like a million times more talented than Kat and deepika...but she doesn't have the OOMPH factor like kat and deepu...skin color has nothing to do with it...so lets give credit where its due.

I am not a fan of Katrina. She does not speak proper or even acceptable Hindi. I personally think that she is a hopeless actress. Infact calling her an actress is stretching the definition. She comes across as deceptive in her relationship with Ranbir.
But you have to give credit where it is due and Katrina Kaif deserves a lot of credit. It does not matter that Salman was herrsponsor - she more than outlived the expectations. She is a dedicated dancer, very conscientious inspite of not being a natural like Madhuri or Sridevi or Karisma, and she is a success at what she does. She seems very considerate of all her colleagues and they all speak highly of her. She is not catty to her colleagues, especially fellow actresses.
Infact, I can accept her non-acting status as she does not pretend to be otherwise. I feel like Ranbir made her fake and deceptive due to their relationship - she has lied time and time again because of him, has been accused of being the third wheel in his and Deepika's relationship and he has never supported her when she got caught out. That made me lose respect for her, because she slways maintained her dignity in her relationship with Salman, and he still supports her.
But Katrina is a success because of Katrina and her fans.
