Sorry Couldn't answer your post earlier... now will answer... Salman has always believed that Ticket Hike shouldn't be there, till Dabangg 2, he had only ETT, in which it wasn't his own production, so a hike of 12% was there, which was trend with all biggies, that too for weekend.
With Jai Ho, he got tax exemption at some places, now before it could have benefited audience of seeing a big film @ low price, Jai Ho's WOM spread & it hit badly. Now Salman did a huge mistake in selling Jai Ho @ Super High Prices, he was overconfident @ time, ke film chalegi coz of him, no matter what he shows. With Jai Ho performing low, he might have felt bad for distributors as they lost some money.
With Kick, he n Sajid planned 15% Hike, that too on Weekend, no WEEKDAYS which was CE/D3 setup... so he could benefit those Distributors who lost some money in Jai Ho.
I myself say 2 Salman as if HE wanna Beat Aamir / SRK in any way, just don't do any kind of charities of not hiking or giving proper release date... If Kick would have been 40% Hike & Landed on EID Day 1... i would have guaranteed 50+ Cr Day 1 for sure.
The day he will do the same as Aamir does setup, he will not only beat him, he will outshine him double or twice... This i am CLAIMING not EXPECTING.
