Whats stopping Salman or his producers from being more business savvy. If they can increase the ticket pricing by 15-20% why not follow the other Khans and increase more. Why release in Ramdan and not Eid. or is it that they have a totally different marketing plan and their strategy is to increase the foot-fall in the 1st few days. Maybe his ticket prices are lower because he has the biggest draw at single screen which prefer low pricing.

Simple - All three khans have different strategies to reach one goal. So we cannot blame the means like ticket pricing m they all select them according to their plan etc.

Answer is simple. He was afraid that people won't come to watch his movies if he increased the hike equal to that of Dhoom.
