In a conversation, the Operational head at Fun Cinema says "For Kick, we are increasing prices by 15-20 percent. This is anyway done for big-ticket films and with Eid around the corner, we are factoring in the festive fervour. Our ticket pricing for Kick will be similar to what we charged for Dhoom 3.''
However the ticket prices for morning shows will not go up. But the entire first week will see a price hike of 15-20% to the actual value.
Apart of that the distributors are eyeing to increase the ticket prices by an additional 10% on EID, if the film gets a great opening at box office. The ticket prices will be same as that of they were during the release of Dhoom 3. However increased number of screens and major occupancy might lead the film to gross 40 Cr on day 1.
Previously, Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger, Talaash, Jab Tak Hai Jaan & Dhoom 3 have seen hiked ticket prices.
