It wasnt me who said "SRK recommended her" for CE. It was beboholic. Deepika was choosen for the part becasuse she is south Indian was said by Chocoholic.

How is that SRK backing her up? And PLEASE that item number was after OSO and before her failures. He dint come to rescue her after that and produced movies for her. And he did those item number favors for Kareena and PC too.

For CE, they were discussing many names and decided on Deepika because she was South Indian and the character was SI.

No one else was never offered the film, at least officially.
