otherwise...amit, srk, bhai, and many others are on par if not better. they have all done their shares of action, romance, comedy, dramas, ...and andaz apna apna - which qualifys as cult classic, wouldn't be complete without bhai. so what if there is no tzp and a lagaan, that doesn't mean they are any less.

lagaan making to oscars means nothing...i reckon if jis desh meh ganga behti hain made today, it would have made the oscars list as well.

@Bossman, you've listed some good movies barring a few, but this challenge is a bit pointless because A) you are not gonna be convinced of differring opinions as you have your own biases just as others have theirs, B) you've made yourself the judge of what is worthy and what is garbage/ugly, and this is partly based on your own preferences and biases, which loops back to pt A.

I believe in the present era, Aamir definitely has the best filmography post-Lagaan in Bollywood, but as far the best overrall, I doubt it.

10) Akele Hum Akele Tum.-Typical BW movie,nothing great.
