I have to drink bottled water in India too! I was drinking regular water and then i started vomiting and having stomach problems and it all went away as soon as i started drinking bottled or water that was boiled first instead.

I can't eat street food, especially pani purii and not just in India it grosses me out anywhere if people don't wear gloves when they make food.

The only things I do is drink bottled water and that too only the bottles from my cousin's company, I need a lot of tissues because I sweat like hell it's too hot to handle for me, once I even started crying because I was frustrated with the heat and wanted to go back in France🤣, I get scared of street dogs they are too dangerous . I don't talk too much with people they think I'm showing attitude but it's because I'm bad in bangla I don't know some words and I mix up french and bangla it's embarassing 😒 and the weirdest part is that I know hindi much better when it's not even my language 🤣

well I am a NRI and i too drink only boiled or bottled water coz I get sick from the tap water. even the water filters dont really help. and ist better to drink that water rather than drinking tap water and falling sick. and yeah i dont eat street Food not coz ist not hygienic but because it doesnt suit my stomach.
but some NRI's I have seen are just like u mentioned in your post. fake accents, brand, scared or every tiny Little Thing etc.

A lot of these apply to me. I find Indian food way too spicy and I only drink bottled water in India. But during my visits, I've tried every kind of street food there is. I just can't resist the food over there. It's super duper delicious. We don't get such tasty Indian food over here. Though I did end up getting sick in the end 😆😆. Uff I really miss those Kulfi's, Ras Gullas and Paneer Makhanwala. There really is a lot of pollution and noise in India. When I stepped out of the Bombay airport, I could actually feel the pollution in the air. The air seemed a lot thicker than what I'm used to. Also, people just just never stop honking on the roads and that used to get on my nerves.

I don't mind the heat though because in Houston, the temperature is usually around 100 degrees in the summer so I'm kind of used to that. Also, I love NBA, Baseball and American Football but doesn't mean that I hate cricket. I'm still Indian after all and every Indian loves cricket. And about the accent. If people are born and/or raised in the US or England, obviously they are gonna have an American or a British accent. Oh and one more thing I couldn't stand is that people don't really use deodorants over there. If you are in a crowded place, the smell of sweat is really hard to bear. Oh and forgot about the tissues. That's so true for me 😆😆

Saare emotions bahar nikal rahe hain...😆
Btw..me a NRI in Qatar.😊
