^ Of course the success of Deepika has a certain impact. Nobody remains on the top forever.. even Salman/SRK/Akki will peter out one day. But just like them.. Kat has been consistently on the top for years now, on the other hand Deepika just had a good year.

Whether Kat is fizzling out or not currently, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Can anyone tell me for how many years Katrina was on top & this is a genuine question. I don't really know it. I read in the forum that Kareena was on top for many years.

I agree. The makers are the ones to blame. They just wanted her 'cause they knew she has a lot of fan following. Its wrong to say that only Amir was responsible for D3's success. Katrina had more screen space in the trailers than Amir khan

That is the point. Male favorite remain same old names while female one has changed.

And female is easily called senior even if she made debut 5 years ago and hit it big 2 years ago (2005).

Kareena was so hyped and popular but she has less number of BO hits. Aishwarya Rai is the most beautiful ever, popular, danced well, acted well but her number of hits is handful.

Female stars rarely have the star power that male stars have.

They rarely start a new trend either except for a rare phenomenon like VB. It is male stars whp have made different kind of films click at BO.

@atominis True that. The female favourites keep changing but the male ones remain pretty much constant. Female and Male stardom is different in Bollywood I guess.

I would love to know that too. When Katrina was at her peak Kareena was no.1 for few years..I can remember that.
