i dont understand, people compare him to newcomers like sid, there is always ranbir vs ranveer comparision, and comparing him with khans now?? seriouslyy?? yea ranbir is one of the best actors of current generartion, but rating him above khans is a bit too much. they have been ruling bollywood for almost two decades now. sharukh n salman gave some alltime hits like HAHK n DDLJ 20yrs back. ranbir doesnt have any such movie in his list. yra rockstar n barfi are gud but they won't be remembered 20yrs later. comparing him with khans or even hrithik for that matter, is totally unfair. blame KJo formthat. he is the one who overhypes ranbir to such an extent that it gets nauseating now. and the guests rating him above srk n sometimes even aamir?? no comments about that

coming to his comparisions with ranveer, no doubt these two are gonna be khans of next generation. both are supertalented, both are very ambitious, and both of them have amazing lineup of movies now. but dont forget that ranveer is only 5movies old, ranbir is 3yrs older in industry than ranveer, and he has that kapoor tag which keeps him as a first choice among directors. ranveer is at the same position as ranveer was at his fifth film, that too with no filmy backgrroud (tho he is very distantly related to anil kapoor, and he didnt get any help from them to enter to movies) so comparing both of them isn't that fair, imo. ranbir isn't even that versatile i mean, wake up sid, ajab prem ki, n barfi, all of these hav that same charlie chaplin inspired roles, only rockstar was his best movie interms of acting. barfi was totally overrated movie, its priyanka's movie, her character was tough to play. both ranbir n ranveer r very talented, both have their pros n cons, they are the future. but comparing ranbir with khans is like kjo making fool of ranbir n making fool of himself, and it is an insult to khans n hrithik!!

all i mean is, ranbir has proved himself in terms of acting, but he has slight more advantage than ranveer in terms of movies choice. see DDD for example, ranbir rejected that, ranveer got it, u get my point? ranveer was the original choice for bombay velvet, but it went to ranbir. he gets slightly more favourism than ranveer, thats what i meant, whatever, if ranbir has kjo, ayan, imtiaz, ranveer has aditya chopra, slb, vm.

people are really exagerrating concerning him...yes he is a good actor but not iconic

and coming to wake up sid, my bad, i sidnt watch it, my frn told me, his acting is no different in that from ajab prem ki or barfi. so i assumed that. but you said gunday is a FLOP?? seeing ur username, i am surprised you even said that!! i wont say its a clean hit, its a semi hit. 30cr profit fr a 50cr budget mvie is a flop??? i hav no comments about that, and i rest my case here.
