Madhuri should stick to reality shows and item songs(if thats what ghagra was). She was once a good actress but now she really fails to make an impression.

madhuri doing chandi and lamhe??? this person is out of their mind lol. Madhuri can't portray innocence onscreen like sridevi can, she can't do crying scenes that well, when sridevi breaksdown you feel how real it is, how you want to go into the screen and console her.

I don't understand Y some ppl hv to be so harsh and so rude in their commenting. It's OK if not everyone likes Madz or hv failed to realize what a brilliant actor she is, but to make demeaning comments coz of lacking to recognize her talent, does not take away anything from her.

DI was a superb film nd Madz was excellent in portraying Begum Para nd after watching d movie, I am not at all surprised at d way it fared at d BO nd I am sure d makers knew exactly dat. Haven't watched GG, but I sincerely hope Madz continues doing films like DI nd others too nd her potential gets the right outlet.😳

I think Mads biggest problem is over-exposure!
I was so happy when she came back first, but after JDJ and all that..I'm like so bored of seeing her. The same thing IMO is the reason why I wasn't really interested in Jai Ho, because I saw Salman everyday on TV!

I also agree that she's limiting herself with her thumkas, and needs to reinvent herself! BUT lets atleast applaud her for TRYING! There's hardly any roles for women her age, so she's doing her best with what she's getting.

Sridevi for EV worked because it had a great script and power packed performances, the WOM was also fantastic. She also reinvented herself from the typical glamorous Bollywood thumkas and all that.

I applaud Mads for trying, I think she can go far if she just steps out of her box..which she is doing somewhat! but for that to happen, we need more directors/producers who write great female oriented scripts!! Let's not bring her down, it's unfair because she's atleast trying to seek out movies with good stories. Hopefully she picks a good script now and does a kickass role!!

Its so amusing to see the dislike for Madhuri in this forum.😆.What do people hate her for..Her accent,because she dances in every movie, because is so subtle and polite that people find her artificial..😆..And the best part she is not an actress..She is a star..Hilarious 😆.So lets hate her..I mean come on..she shifted to US after her marriage..there will be some influence in her accent..She is the best female dancer in the industry..what is wrong if she dances..Dont actors take off their shirts without a reason if they have a good physique to flaunt.. 😆..At least song and dance are integral parts of Hindi cinema..And I get amazed to see people saying she is not an actress..There was a time when Madz was signed for a movie before the hero..and she was called the Hero of the movie..She has made movies successful just on her own calibre..So before saying this one should go and watch some of the movies of her ..and then comment on her acting talent...If what she did in Dedh Ishqiya or Gulaab Gang is not acing..then I dont know what is..😆..

Also many ppl tend to write Madhuri off or fail to grasp the pull tht she has. So just a few points to ponder over:

1. Y is she used as the yardstick in measuring other female actors'? I hv seen almost all female actors frm Katrina to Sr to Juhi to older ones too being compared to Madhuri here on IF forum too.

2. Y do film stars, again present ones and older ones swoon over Madhuri when dey go to promote their movies on JDJ and act like lovelorn fans?

3. Y in spite of being an outsider still, does she manage to garner d respect and love of the film industry that thrives on sycophancy nd nepotism?

Also as far as her acting is concerned, more than her acting getting overlooked by her unmatched dancing skills nd dazzling smile, it's d naturalness, restrain nd subtlety dat makes one not even realize how brilliantly she portrayed a character. She is d one actor who never goes OTT ever.
