well there is never going be another madhuri. she had her time. and impact she left HUGE.
the day it was announced that she will be hosting some tv show..i knew it then and there, sorry madhuri, you are done. forget about any comebacks now.
why madhuri, sri, hema's were so big during their time in bollywood..cos they were never were overexposed like todays actresses. on fridays, ppl rushed to see these dream girls on big screen. these dream girls didn't host any shows, hardly had any endorsements, hardly gave interviews, and there were not zillions of magazines to make them pose /Photoshop.
since madhuri came back to india, she has been everywhere. i mean c'mon!
your fans are so very very close to you daily, watching you on small screen, hah there is nothing left to see.
and yes tantal said it right, its very tough nowadays, the new girls are coming out strong, and producers are picking them for these strong roles. and 80% audience are young as well.
its gut wrenching to say as a huge fan of madhuri, but yes its over for her. time has changed, ppl's taste have changed...its not the same dhak dhak generation anymore. move on.
her once rival sridevi has a upper hand here. i am eagerly waiting for her next movie. and boy i am glad she didn't rush to sign movies for sake of it after super duper EV.
but i still don't mind re-running madhuri movies and her dances...there's never going to be another whole packaged item like madhuri dixit.
