I agree, a personality is very important. That's why SRK is always ranked above the other Khans, Hrithik and sometimes even Amitabh. If you look at it, Hrithik is better looking, Salman has a bettery body, Aamri is more talent and Amitabh is ofcourse a legend - yet SRK remains number-1 to the majority of people and that's because he has a strong and charming personality that connects to people.

Ranbir to me seems like he is high or on some kind of substance half the time, even when he jokes around its so mono-tone , unnatural and seems rehearsed 😆

Yeah, no one likes Ranbir or find him charming that's why so many brands sign him to sell their products 😆 You see him like every half hour on ads like Hero, Lays, Pepsi. That's what made SRK the biggest star as well. He had successful films and the strongest brand. Ditto with Ash. And Ranbir leads the next generation in both. A lot people find Ranveer's desperate attention grabbing off putting as well. Heck, i even see Sushant promoting Garnier, but hardly sees Ranveer. Ranveer over hyping here is hilarious. As someone said, totally opposite to what happens in the real world.

I don't know about brands, endorsements or being on ads. I dont have the time or interest ot be interested in that and make note of that. Besides, by that logic that means Katrina is the best right? Because whenever I have gone to India I see Katrina EVERYWHERE - billboards, airports, tv ads - she is literally everywhere despite her being the least charming and or interesting personality that there is.

What we are talking about has nothing to do with endorsements. Preity Zinta just gave an interview stating that she had the most endorsements a couple years ago, and where is she now? Shes a has-been actress and a nobody.

Your point about Sushant just proves everything. You see him on TV, but he is not NEARLY as talked about as Ranveer. I actually think that's a huge compliment and achievement for Ranveer, the fact that he is so talked about and loved without the in your face endorsements. Good for him! It also proves how little endorsements matter.

Imran was there after Delhi Belly and no one talks about him now. So it hardly matters unless he starts delivering proper hits. ;)

Yes, Katrina is the biggest female star in the country. She even delivers huge openings with Imran. You'd understand that if you were in India actually. Priety must have been promoting some medium level brands and that's not what I was talking about. SRK has always had most brand value among males and it was Katrina after Ash went away. Sushant is talked a lot for a guy who came into prominence last year. Two hits as well.

It was not at the same level as Ranveer. Imran didn't even fetch nominations at most award shows.

Besides Ranveer has always been regarded as a strong talent, right from his first movie, Lootera solidified the fact that he is talented, and Ram Leela and Gunday proved he can showcase his talenet and have box office appeal.

Gunday is not declared a hit yet. As of now, he has only one clear hit. Imran was considered biggest challenger to Ranbir 2 years ago. Ranveer was not in the picture at that time. Imran also had 3 hits and a superhit.

And if SRK is still seen as #1, it's because of his brand value mainly. Aamir has outperformed him in box office for many years. CE gave SRK some relief, but otherwise he broke new records with Ghajini, 3 Idiots and D3. And Salman has always been the biggest draw for single screen audience. No one can challenge his popularity in the rural areas. So the perceived image of SRK being #1 is because of his box office draw plus brand value. Salman and Aamir lack the latter. But as far as box office goes, both have outperformed SRK in the last few years.

Ranbir Kapoor will alway be like Rishi Kapoor...his graph and personality shows that..
