After the highly successful Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, director Ali Abbas Zafar is ready to go on floor with his next YRF project, 'Gunday'. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. Priyanka Chopra has joined the cast of 'Gunday' as the leading lady and will play a pivotal role in the film. This is Priyanka's second film and both Ranveer and Arjun's third film with the banner and it is the first time that these three dynamic actors have come together. Amidst the most turbulent times in the history of Kolkata, then Calcutta, from 1971 to1988, Bikram and Bala rose from being small time wagon breakers and coal thieves to becoming the biggest and most powerful black marketing mafia-men. A rare combination of vigour and wit, the two were inseparable & the city of Calcutta swore by their friendship. As their notoriety became the stuff of legends... the People of this sprawling city started calling these two carefree rebels... Gunday'. Music: Sohail Sen does a good job of compiling thumping melodies with soulful ballads in this album. But a singularly impressive collection of Bollywood music this is not. 'Tune Maari Entriyaan' and 'Jiya' are the obvious favourites while 'Asslaam-e-Ishqum' and 'Saaiyan' stand out for the wrong reasons. Overall, you will enjoy it if you like your music glitzy and energetic. Rating: 3.5/5 (for detail music review please click the following link -http://www.boxofficecapsule.com/news/Music-Review-GUNDAY-Is-Sparkling-But-Not-All-The-Way-5525) Predictions:
Average Critic Ratings Predicted 3/5 Final Verdict: Film should take good start due to exciting entertainer and glitzy, glamorous and pulsating promos full of clap worthy dialogues. Film should do good over the weekend and this will be a hit bare minimum if not super hit. |
