Wow another apt review. Yes in some scenes it was qritten kjo and dharma as a rubberstamp, specially the dori scene as mentioned.

Technically simplistically... movie is good only coz of Pari and Sid performances...spply Pari...

I saw the movie...and liked it. But I have to say Pari outshone Sid and everyone else...but that's just my POV. 😆

The characters were different...definitely quirky...but very heart warming.

As soon as Meeta explains that keeping a wet towel on your stomach helps to curb your hunger...I was just like damn! I felt so bad for her and her situation.

And Nikhil was very sweet and caring. But Sid needs to improve his acting and dance skills, if he wants to be more than just a pretty boy in Bollywood.

I didn't like the placement of the songs. You get like one in the intro and then everything piled up almost one afer the other after the interval. And drama queen was left for the ending credits..what gives? It was like they had good songs but no where to place them in the story 😕

Over all the story is nice...but not great...good for a one time watch.

For Pari & Sid's sake I hope it does well at the BO.

Anyone knows how's the film been doing at the international BO? For Singapore, the film only opened on one screen on Friday with 4 shows, and there was a 35% occupancy for the FDFS. It opened up on more screens during the weekend, and the occupancy has been increasing to about 60-70% in some of the screens. In Jakarta, on the other hand, the film's been doing very well, and the occupancy is mostly above 80%. However, it is only playing on one screen there.

Any idea about the US/UK/UAE/Australia/Canada circuits?

Box-Office: 'Hasee Toh Phasee' on the right track, earns Rs 11.10 cr in two days

New Delhi: It seems director Vinil Mathew's 'Hasee Toh Phasee' is on the right track at the box-office. The film is gaining momentum at the ticket window. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted about the film's business in its first two days. He tweets, "#HaseeTohPhasee Fri 4.85 cr, Sat 6.25 cr to 6.40 cr. Witnesses 30% to 40% jump on Day 2. Metros ate super-strong!"

Adarsh further tweeted, "In UK and Australia too, #HaseeTohPhasee Sat biz is almost double of Fri biz. Upward trend continues!"

The film features Parineeti Chopra as a mad scientist and Sidharth Malhotra as an aspiring businessman.

The film is not facing any strong opposition right now, and thus it's good run is likely to continue for a week, before Priyanka Chopra's 'Gunday' hit the screens on February 14

Hasee Toh Phasee Witnesses A Good Jump On 1st Saturday At The Box Office

Hasee Toh Phasee, witnessed a good jump and has picked up at the box office on Saturday, both at single-screens and multiplexes. As per early trade estimates, this rom-com has managed to make a business of around 5.75 crores on its 2nd Day i.e. 1st Saturday at the Domestic Box Office. The movie now stands at a decent total of around 10 crores at the Box Office.

Though the single-screen business is around the same level as 1st Friday, which is not very high, multiplexes have witnessed a huge jump in business almost everywhere. Metro cities are doing indeed better business as predicted!

Hasee Toh Phasee is expected to pick up or atleast remain stable today, given a Sunday factor!
