to say"starve" is VERY insensitive of her. i understand she doesnt want to observe the fast, for whatever reason, thats her opinion. but she has no right to throw it in other peoples face who do believe in it and observe the fast. #dumb

A regressive ritual is regressive. A sexist tradition is sexist. Period. Whether you do it or not why you do it does not make a difference. Unless there is Karwa Chauth for men this one sided fasting is what it is!

So Bebo has an opinion about it. If you do not like it, close your eyes! There is absolutely nothing wrong she said. No need to get so offended! Jeez! If you want to do Karwachauth do it. But let's not pretend it is not sexist or regressive!

I love my Bebo, I really do.

But this time, I think she messed up. It's not that she doesnt believe in it, but more how she phrased it. She joked about it, but while doing so, kinda mocked it. Which obviously would hurt sentiment.

Some fans would go to any length to defend their favorites. So a religious festival followed my millions of women including "modern" ones is regressive only because their favorite said so. 😕

Who's defending her?

Just coz some members agree with her, doesnt make them her fans.

I AM HER FAN, but I'm not defending her. It's easy to generalize, but I would recommend actually validating the claim first.

Not saying Kareena's right, but you have to take a look at some of these dimwits. I mean...what is he going on about? How did Pakistan come in? What is "Kareena's culture" or "family background"?

There are ways to state views without mocking and here Kareena is mocking the tradition. With her W*F comments, sounding like an ignorant.

Kareen's name should be changed to "Contradicting". She has always been a follower, changes her views at drop of the hat and seems extremely fickle.

Religion is something which should not be mocked, as it is a sensitive subject.

If you are not following, don't but have no right to mock those who do. Same with those who follow religion.
