Then don't watch Dastaan, it's a patriotic show. Like the movie Border, LOC Kargil, Gadar or Veer Zaara for instance.
It's just one of 100s of shows.

One could say the same for countless anti-Pakistani films made by Bollywood. War is always followed by tragic stories. Partition ruined a lot of lives and everyone involved then is equally to blame not just either side/religion. Of course one side will always blame the other, that is only natural but from the third person's POV, no one is blameless. I am not going to watch Dastaan because I'm too much of a softie to watch historic tragedies but many people whose judgment I trust have given Dastaan rave reviews. So I wouldn't ask anyone to refrain from watching it. It is apparently a good show, people should watch it without any bias or hatred.

Ok speaking of tv shows. The excitement of watching a drama and then waiting a whole week, especially since the best ones air over the weekend has been fun for the past 2 and a half years since I got introduced to them.

I'm completely in awe of QeT (FQ-SN) have got to be one of the best pairings but recently over-exposed. Then Paarsa also was a really beautiful play.

The beauty of DeS, was in its simplicity of storytelling and its compactness. There were no white or black characters but every person has a reason for behaving the way they are. And the fact that a bunch of letters are what got Shehwar through those difficult years of her life. Sanam Baloch did a phenomenal job there.

Daam and Malaal are other must watch dramas along with Pani Jaisa Pyar. The list just goes on and on.. Even the last few episodes of MeJ just connect with you to the core.
