Both were epic! Loved Devdas! But HDDCS is one of my all-time favourite films.. so my vote goes to HDDCS.

he took the best out from manisha in khamoshi...i love all the songs in khamoshi...especially bahon ke dharmiyan...one of SLB golden classic...in a reality show...even salman confess that bahon ke dharmiyan is his fav song...

he took the best out from ash in hddcs and devdas...

he took the best out from rani in black...one of her most memorable performance...

I hope he brings the best from Deepika in Ram Leela too - Its the only film I'm looking forward to this year, I hope SLB dont disappoint me like he did with Sawariya and Guzarish.

in hddcs the love stories were better developed there was chemistry of nandini with both sameer and vanraj. in devdas i didnt feel bad for devdas the intensity with paro was missing and there was no warmth in his moments with chandramukhi also.

Salman's acting ruined HDDCS for me
