Katrina works hard on rehearsing the dance moves. She is not a natural dancer. Her live performances are a dud but her item songs in movies are better. N don't even get me started on her expressions.

So that's what it comes down to now, if you shake your ass and boobs well enough then you're considered a dancing queen.

All that jiggling everyone accuses Kat of, its like no other actresses have done it before. It has been incorporated in dance from ages. I bet you can find Madhuri do it too in some of her songs. Choli ke peeche, anyone?

Of course Madhuri has those item numbers too, but she has just as many straight up Bollywood dance numbers, Kathak numbers, hip hop numbers, etc. Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai is contemporary. Plus Madhuri played with her expressions in so many songs and she ENJOYS dancing..you can see it in every move of hers. She did quite a few different types of dances in her time. Katrina is more into trying to get her steps right IMHO. Also, another big difference I find is..there's something very feminine about the way Madhuri dances..there's so much grace there, even in the vulgar item numbers.

Katrina simply lacks grace. I usually don't like saying stuff like this, but she looked and danced like a man in Chikni Chameli. She has good isolations and can move her body, shake it..but as a dancer, there's still a lot missing in her. Just my POV.

I think its quite an insult comparing Madhuri and Katrina. Katrina is no where near earning that title of the 'Dancing Queen.'

Even at the age of 40+ Madhuri still has that grace, expression, and immense talent. Katrina is not even anywhere close to Madhuri's age or talent. The title of a 'dancing queen' is not earned within 2-3 years of dancing. That is a title that is earned after years and years of dancing. Just look at this:

Difference is lack of grace when Katrina dances.
