No no you didn't say it but you did say what Katrina does Madhuri can't,which IMO is not right. 😳 Madhuri could have done better sheila and Chikni and that too with grace. Where Katrina looks vulgar,Madhuri looks sensuous.

Kat can do the moves but her face is blank. Madhuri used to do dance not only with her body, but even with her face. The biggest thing about Indian dancing is facial expressions which Kat lacks. She cannot be considered an all-round dancer until and unless she gets that right.

I wish we get a true all-round actress of Mads/Sri's caliber. They were bigger than their heroes. They were the reason the movies worked in those days. Wish we get that era back.

Silly, I meant that Madz can't do that now...in the aspect that she ain't young anymore etc. so it may not suit her/look odd.

And I never disregarded Madz's talent and grace...that is the reason I said Kat can't do what Madz did.

Madhuri is an amazing dancer, Katrina is just a newbie when it comes to dancing.

Dancing is not only about expressions but correct body movements are also neccessary.

What is a Dance without movement.

The songs Choli key peechey kya hai and Chikni cambeli are so different and there is no comparison.

One is a slow and the other is faster, so of course the dancing would also be different in tempo.

She is amazingly hardworking and manages to gets the steps right, but dancing is not just making the steps or displaying your hot body or doing body moevements right.

dancing is expressing a mood, a situation, a thought with movements.

She does no emotional connection with the song, even raunchy songs need appropriate expression, her face is blank.

I rather loved her in early days in songs like jee karda. but chikni chameli and then mashallah , are horrible, its like her body and her face are at two different places.

BUt she popularized belly dance among stars, although rani is aga bai did it much better than katrina.

Tanni I agree with you on that Rani part because just loved Rani's belly dancing that looked so difficult! Love watching that song because of Rani's dance!
