I thought both LAK and Cocktail had great stories but I can't say the same about YJHD, the movie doesn't look interesting

To me it did because it was about two best friends who are like sisters. The movie focus more on the girls part and I like movies that has strong female characters rather than weak female character

I usually see dp's movie on theatre but I'll wait for CE to watch it on theatre. Not watching YJHD in theatres that's for sure, saved that for DVD.

So true!! I was all pumped up for LAK, Cocktail, IHLS because of the nice songs/videos but the actual storyline of the movies was, as you described, craptastic!! I'm a sucker for rom coms, complete chick flicks...Im hoping this would be the one. But, after reading that article, Im not too sure now. I think I should just go watch Wake Up Sid, now, n make myself happy

IHLS had great songs for sure but yeah the movie sucked mainly because of the acting and the storyline

Oh IHLS too. Another one that worked because of music + youth factor. 😆

I love rom-coms too...but gosh, it's been a while since I've seen a good rom-com. Probably Mujhse Fraanship Karoge. I'm hoping for this year to be better though.

But dunno how Ayan hasn't even finished shooting the climax yet either.

OMG..yes! At times, I felt like poking Imran/Sonam with a pole through my tv screen..."Act, kids! Emote! Do somethinggg! I'm waiting" 🥱 and then the same with Deepika in LAK..in some scenes, she just kept staring in mid-air and blinking her eyes. Hayyee Ram! 😕 Thank God, they infused some energy in her character in Cocktail.
