Mukerji is racing against time to wrap
up his ambitious film "Yeh Jawaani Hai
Deewani". According to reports, the
young filmmaker is staring at a long
task list, and Dharma is pulling out all
the stops to help Ayan get the film back
on track.
Asource close to the production house
told: "A large chunk of dubbing, that
includes quite a few critical scenes, is
yet to be done. Asong featuring Ranbir
and Madhuri Dixit is yet to be shot.
Some more scenes need to be shot in
Mumbai and most importantly, the
climax, that involves all four actors
(Ranbir, Deepika, Aditya Roy Kapur
and Kalki) remains to be shot as well."
Given the enormity of the task, Ayan, it
is said is about to press the panic
button.
"He is feeling the heat… and has
confided in Ranbir about his anxiety,
who is standing by his buddy helping
him sort things out," said the source,
adding, "The song with Madhuri is
likely to be shot by the end of the
month. Pritam too has put other
projects on hold to complete the
soundtrack."
With the schedule stretching longer
than expected, Ayan also had a
problem with Deepika's dates. The
actress, who has been buzzing
between her three films - "Chennai
Express", "Yeh Jawaani" and "Ram
Leela", has had a tough time
accommodating fresh requests from
her directors.
"But Ayan managed to wrangle two
days with Deepika from Rohit Shetty.
And if everything goes according to
plan, he will meet the deadline," added
the source.
