I just googled and found out that he did win an award for KHKN. As per wiki he has won best critics performance for it. He has won best actor in the same year for Baazigar separately

Yes that's what I said :) He won best actor critics...but the janta remembers Baazigar and Darr more since they came in the same year..

Sania, I don't know why it didn't work. Maybe because the hero of the film (Sunil aka SRK) is a loser? Its sad though, it's one of SRK's best and I think it's his favorite as well...

Yeah he was nominated for Darr as villain but never won. Wow he had awesome 3 flicks that year; KHKN, Baazigar and Darr and not one is ordniary hero based. Impressive line up that was for a year

DDLJ was epic, haven't got over Raj-Simran for last 10 years :P <3

I really wished that KHKN had done well. Sunil was a loser yes,but it was in a way one of the very realistic characters also. He was flawed but still so much lovable...

Its really sad that it did not do well enough.
