Sania, I don't know why it didn't work. Maybe because the hero of the film (Sunil aka SRK) is a loser? Its sad though, it's one of SRK's best and I think it's his favorite as well...

I don't mind romance per say, but some things are just weird. Like the other day I was reading this article with Romney's wife praising him and Michelle Obama praising her husband my first instinct when I read that was I am NEVER going to do this with the person I am with!

VZ is just weird. The less I say about it, the better it is, since I really don't have anything nice to say. For now I prefer to keep my mouth shut about the movie. I understand and respect fans that like the movie though.

This is not really a popular opinion but I prefer SRK in every movie when he is not exactly a "romantic hero". I enjoy watching his older movies. Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na (he is too cute in this one). Some of his other older movies aren't even that great, but I prefer them over Kal Ho Na Ho and VZ. In recent years I loved him in Swades and Chak De. I didn't mind Suriji (too cute) but I HATED Raj in RNBDJ. It was sad how Tani fell for Raj. So I didn't like RNBDJ either. I think the last SRK movie I liked was OSO.
